| douglas88 (53), Salt Lake City, Utah | | September 13, 2009 I love this place! They have tons of fairly rare E European beers, some nice Belgians and a few other oddities. Nice Polish food and the owners are as cool as hell. They are always trying to get new beer and you will definitely find beer you haven’t had. | | BuckeyeBoy (58), Boise, Idaho | | January 24, 2009 A great place to pick up your not so good Easter Euro stuff. But let me tell you they have some great Mead. I have not had any food but it smells pretty good. | | jake65 (57), Williston, North Dakota | | March 4, 2008 Stopped in last summer to check out the brews. Next time I will make time to eat. Plentiful selection of Euro lagers wuth some baltic porters and dark ales too. And mead. So she says. They do have some things that no one else in town has. | | BückDich (215), McCall, Idaho | | October 10, 2006 This is a fun little place to go for lunch or whatever. Inside it’s well lit and part indoor Parisian cafe, part Polish conveinience store, and part European meat deli. Very unique for Boise. Just the Polish goods, the teas and beers alone would get me here, but throw in artisinal meats, cheeses, butters, etc and you have a real treat. Lunch prices are very good and the food is great. Sometimes it’s even amazing. Their beer selection is why I’m putting this up here. Probably 20 or 30 eastern and central european, western asia type beers that aren’t found anywhere else in the town, no, state. Lots of lagers, strong and light, but some are dark, some are hoppy. A few ales thrown in the bunch. Can you say baltic porters? Hell yeah. The owners are always a kick to chat with, great stories. It’s such an organic feeling place that you can’t help but fall in love. Unless you’re the type that likes to be packed in and out of a restaurant like a machine with little human contact, then this isn’t for you. Zajebisty! |
