If you want a place to go where underclassmen are puking drunk and dancing on poles, this is the place for you. Decent bar food during the daytime though. They’ve got a couple big screen TVs so if you need a place to go during the day to watch a game on the Big Ten Network, this is a viable option.

Nothing but a crappy campus bar. They took out the brewing equipment years ago to make room for a pool table. How pathetic. Get rid of the only thing that makes your bar unique in Champaign. CHANGE THE NAME PLEASE!

Mega dittos with Phil. They used to have this home made hard lemonade. It was pretty good. But the rest stick with what Phil had to say.

NOT A BREWERY! I enter Joe’s since it merits a word of caution. I have talked with quite a few who have come to Champaign-Urbana expecting this to be the town’s microbrewery, judging by its name. This is NOT the case. It was a brewery at one time, but now a meat-market bar holds the name captive. So do not let the title nor the phonebook deceive you, you will not find products other than BMC here.
