3 reviews for Goose Island O’Hare Airport

I’ve been here in the last 6 months, this is probably the "best" you’ll find at O’Hare for beer. They typically have Matilda and a rotating seasonal beer from Goose, i.e. Mild Winter, Harvest Ale, Summertime Kolsch. The food options were limited to pre-made sandwiches from under a heat lamp. Nothing like the actual brewpub. The bartender was chipper and friendly, calling everyone honey. | | NachlamSie (211), Tennessee | | February 25, 2009 Yeah, being in an airport, this place is expensive. That’s expected. That aside, the ambiance is pretty good, given the fact that it’s in an airport. Selection was pretty reasonable, four taps and four different bottles. Our service was the friendliest we encountered among the burned our vendor workers. I lucked out and was waiting in a terminal a matter of yards away. This made my layover much, much better. | | bhensonb (287), Woodland, California | | September 15, 2008 It’s expensive. Food is pre-wrapped sandwiches. However, there are great Goose Island brews in bottles and on tap. I had Matilda. It’s the ale drinker’s refuge from airport macroland. Note: the phone number is from one of the pubs. |
