| jmw141 | Great selection of craft brews. Prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. Some of the stuff might be older, but you aren’t going to find a better selection anywhere near peoria.

hillfiiiiire | I drop in here whenever I’m driving through Peoria to see what’s new. The selection is pretty solid, just a huge aisle of beer and a walk-in cooler area. They also have some homebrew supplies. If you find the right staff, they know plenty about beer. Today, I managed to do that and ended up with a free sample while sitting around talking beer. If you’re anywhere near Peoria, you should definitely stop in.

Illini08 | Was here quite some time ago, just getting around to doing some place ratings. Not unlike any other Friar Tuck that I’ve been to. As always, you have to watch out for how old beer is that’s on the shelves at Friar Tuck

WabashMan | A big selection, but not really too adventurous, unfortunately. And they won’t let you buy singles of 12 oz bottles, except a few that can be made into a mixed six pack, and those are only the beers that are about $8/six pack.

doubelknv3 | Great beer selection and they keep my tapper running at home with decent keg selection. Cheers,

barleyPops | stopped in here a few weeks ago after eating at Avanti’s. decent selection, but some of the prices were a bit high. worth an occasional stop.
| |
SubstanceT | As for a friar tucks (try holding your tounge and say that) it is pretty much par. Big selection and lots of stuff just sitting there for who knows how long.

| jew02 | Good selection of six packs, twelve packs and singles of non-mainstream beers. Seemingly good selection of wine and a good selection of liquor. Staff seems knowledgable on everything that I have asked of them.

holdenn | A big store with an emphasis on wine (as these stores usuallay are) but a nice wall of micros at a good price with a couple gems that aren’t available or hard to find in chicago. Across from the micros is an aisle of homebrew supplies, not a ton, but enought if you’re in need. If you’re in Peoria its a quick and worthy stop.

Cornfield | Managed to squeak in a visit whilst passing through Peoria. Nice selection of brands not available in the Chicago area, including a goodly handful of UK brews that I’ve yet to try. Good selection of Belgian & Eastern European, too. I enjoyed the single buy section, keeping an eye on the experation dates as mentioned in earlier reviews. I’ll make it a point to drop in now & again.
