Decent selection, but staff was not very knowledgeable about beers. Helped staff with other customers...felt like they were going to put behind the bar.

If you’ve been to one Old Chicago, you’ve been to them all, a safe generic restaurant chain that before you walk in the front door, you know exactly what to expect. I have no idea why this restaurant chain is called "Old Chicago" because their pizza doesn’t even closely resemble a true Chicago style deep dish stuffed pizza. The pizza is one step above Domino’s, but far from the best pizza you can find in Peoria. None of the ingredients are fresh, but shipped in, like Domino’s or Papa John’s. Also I think this chain is kind of expensive, 2 appetizers and pizza can easily run over $30.00, and that’s without drinks. They have a promotion called the "World Beer Tour" where if you ordered all 110 of beers they offer, you get your name on a wall. I don’t think the "World Beer Tour" is worth taking, you have to drink and pay for a lot of mediocre beers. They have all the bar games and entertainment that you find at every OC. They have lunch and happy hour appetizer specials that can help cut the cost, but the quality can vary. The beer selection is better than your average restaurant chain, but offer nothing that you haven’t seen or tried before. Kids like this chain, but I can’t really recommend it, but if you’re looking for a safe bet and are already out shopping by the mall, you may want to pop in for a quick brew and meal.

Beer choices galore!!! They even have a World Beer Tour that you can be a member of. One of the top franchise style restaurants when it comes to beer. Food is also fairly decent, but beer is the reason to visit this establishment.
