hopslovin (5), Fort Wayne, Indiana does not count - explanation | | July 28, 2008 One of the best beer selections in NE Indiana. Great lake front view and enjoyable staff. Good food and very casual laker attitude. Broad beer menu with some memorable bottles. Hit and miss on inventory, but you’ll find several to enjoy. | tiffanywerling (1), does not count - explanation | | April 25, 2008 Pier 32 not only had an amazing beer selection but very few places can honestly say they have someone who actually knows about the beer they serve. Gerry Martin not only explained the different beers and where they were imported from he was also able to explain in great detail what they tasted like! So with an amazing beer in my hand and and great meal sitting in front of me! I sat back to enjoy the sun setting over the lake! Now you can’t get perfection like this anywhere else! | rowefam3 (1), kendallville, Indiana does not count - explanation | | August 14, 2007 [ Updated December 13, 2007 ] This is like a perfect little lake beer place. The beer selection is well rounded out. The food is mixed though. Had a real rare dark wheat on tap from Goose Island the last time I was their. A little pricey though for an on tap selection. | bdigi66 (7), Ft Wayne, Indiana does not count - explanation | | June 17, 2007 Met Gary and the man knows his stuff. Beer selection is ridiculous. Rochefort 10, St. Bernardus Abt 12, quite a few Founders, and too many more to go through them all. Service was great, proper glassware, and the food is phenomenal. I had the Havana Nights chicken dish with fresh mango habanero glaze and salsa over the top of it. Overall a great place and great people. | thedm (5), Fort Wayne, Indiana does not count - explanation | | October 22, 2004 [ Updated September 19, 2005 ] Loved the service here provided by the owners Gary Martin and Gary Pribble. The waitresses were attentive and open to beer raters. We were treated with respect and hovered over for service. I had the ribs and they were excellent. Hotstuff had a fish dish and liked it too. There were about 5-10 taps and like 40 bottles of beer. Make sure to ask for what is available as the beer menu is not up-to-date. Wines are also served. When we were there, Mad Anthony (most), Bells (two-hearted,Oberon), Tusker, Chimay(red), Young’s(double Chocolate Stout), Xingu(Black beer), Kirin Ichiban,JW Dundee’s(Pale Ale,Amber),Blue Moon(Pumpkin Ale), and many others were available. |
