| hotstuff (23), Indiana | | April 16, 2008 Dined and drank here on 4-12-08 for lunch. Service was very attentive, prompt, and courteous. Food was very good, beers were some better than others that were available. Establishment was in a clean and neat manner at time of visit. This location is a lot quieter than the downtown location as evidenced during this visit and backed up by the server. All in all, a nice place and would not think twice about patronizing this location in the future. | Dinntastic (3), does not count - explanation | | February 26, 2007 Don’t bother with this one unless you can’t make it Downtown. How two restaruants can share the same name and be so different is a mystery. The nachos, and more importantly, the beer are nowhere near as good as the Downtown location. | | atpayne (28), Zionsville, Indiana | | August 23, 2005 Standard Rock Bottom food, decor, and atmosphere. Nice looking place with cleanly displayed brewery behind glass. Outdoor seeting and a lot of space. Food was pretty good, but also only what I expected from a chain. Their full time brewer wasn’t here yet so they didn’t have any special beers on yet, just the standards. The beer was as I have come to expect from a chain brewpub; very drinkable but not earthshattering. Hopefully when the brewer comes his special brews will keep bringing me back. | | StewardofGondor (122), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin | | July 6, 2005 Why there are two Rock Bottoms in the Indy area is beyond me, but I graced this one because it was near a client’s office. Standard Rock Bottom food with a beer selection that I haven’t had before. All of the beers were pretty uneventful, conservative and bland. Service with a smile, but very unknowledgable about their beer or brewing in general. |
