A large selection of beer was available at this place at one time, but a fairly good selection is still there. They changed the floor to "brighten the place up" hired new staff, and don’t use the heater anymore (which sucks in Iowa in the winter, let me tell you). Very nice a dark, usually quiet before 10pm, very nice. Every wednesday night is $2 off import and microbrew, so that isn’t too bad. But it was better at one time. Despite everything, this is definately my second favorite bar in the area, mostly becuase I lived less than a block away and could walk to and from (and between classes). Those were the days.
