December 22, 2007 I was not overly impressed with this store. Their brews were not well organized and their selections was not overly large and there was not a lot of variety. The lady at the register acted as if she had never heard of a sour beer before which was not a good sign. She was the only one seen working. If you are in this area you may as well drive another 25 minutes south and go to John’s Grocery in Iowa City. |

October 25, 2007 I come here often and the staff is great. Store is set up really nice and is clean. They have a large selection of beers, but are lacking in a lot of the imperial ipas, stouts, and other extreme beers (from talking to the staff this is more of a distribution/iowa problem). They do have a huge belgian selection if thats your thing. I rarely see beers I haven’t tried before. They hold tastings every so often and those are fun. The staff knows a lot about beer. |

March 13, 2007 This store does carry a lot of Belgium and hard to find ales. They also have good prices on items like Three Floyds Alpha King Pale Ale at about $7.79 a 6pk. Best deal around. They also carry quite a few seasonal beers as well. Thanks for reading. |

September 13, 2006 This is in the middle of the city with not much else around it in the way of customer service businesses. They have a large well lit facility with lots of wine on the way back to the beers. The selection of US singles was fairly weak. Yet, they claim more than 500 beers on their website. Where they shine is with Belgian and German imports. They also have a decent selection of west coast brews in 4 and 6 packs. I saw at least see 20 beers you cannot get in Iowa City. A store that is worth the visit if you want good beer in Cedar Rapids. |
