I paid a Friday visit to this interesting micro brewer. With ten gallon batches, they are still churning out some good brews. Located in a historic building, they also have a very unique little bar with room for only a few stools. They had 5 beers on tap when I visited and all were at least decent, and a couple were solid. They also have a nice craft beer list that shames most beer bars in the state of Iowa, despite having a Cold Spring (Gluek) available. Certainly worth a stop if you are driving by on I-35 as it’s only a few minutes east.
