amazingly well-crafted and fresh beer + wondrously comfortable setting + creative kitchen (open at 8, so plan to eat late) = one of the brightest and most exciting beer spots in europe. you must visit birrificio italiano.

Big place. TipoPils is the top beer (one of best pils around), Bibock and scires are quite good. Other beers are not very consistent (sometimes good sometimes not so much). Service good and wide selection of food. - I went again recently and beers improved

One of the eldest microbreweries in Italy, they also serve proper food at reasonable prices. Definetely worth the trip.

This brewery restaurant has a great reputation in the Italian craft beer scene and for good reasons. Their beer is top notch, the food at the brewery is very good and they are able to get their beer to various outlets in their Italy to spread the good word. And on top of that, it is not that difficult to get to from Milan with public transport. Their beers are available in Milan at various quality pubs, so you don’t really have to come out to Lurago Marinone to drink them, but drinking Tipopils here could not be fresher.

Great beer, good food, and not a million miles from the Parents. Whoo hoo. too many years I have suffered shit beer in Italy, and finally I can drink and eat - some, if not the best beers made in Italy. And, the parents like the food. The service, can be a little, airy fairy, but that’s all part of the package. Love the place. Fresh TipoPIls, yummy.

In a little village between Milan and Varese, one of the best, if not the best, micros in Italy, and certainly one of the firsts. Turnover of their cratfed beers, worldwide renowned and appreciated, beautiful setting, very nice and well done food.

A wonderful brewpub, that might be a bit hard to get to, but it’s well worth the effort. Good beer line and top notch food. Superb service.
