If you get stuck in that thirsty situation where the variants of Japanese Budweiser just aren’t doing it, this is the best place to go in Okayama, clearly the best German beer selection in the city. The restaurant is a little too fancy feeling, but the service is friendly and welcoming. The food portions are a little on the small side, but the beer benefits far outweigh any of that. Several different selections were available on my visit, weissbier, schwarzbier (kostritzer), and more. As far as the Japanese beer scene goes, this is a must find if you’ve spent a couple of days there finding only Japanese Budweiser and Sake. Don’t expect to get any bargains or save money, though.
