November 30, 2008 This place was a pleasant surprise as I was looking for something in downtown Annapolis on Black Friday & all my regular spots had a wait. In an historic building right on the waterfront, the place had that quirky old feeling to it, but they have made it comfortable w/o loosing the charm of the place. Had @ 20 taps & 12-14 were Micros; pleanty of Clipper City (Including the pale ale as their house brew) Boddingtons, Spaten Oktoberfest, Some Sam’s Seasonals, DFH 60...Nothing super rare but pleanty to choose from that was a lot better than standard Macro Swill (although they had some of that too!) Mostly basic bottle list. Food was very good; a little pricey, but you are in Downtown Annapolis & they had some decent lunch specials which weren’t quite as bad. Steamed Shrimp & Clam Chowder were quite good. I’d recommend this place if you are looking for something in Downtown Annapolis. |
