| mwelsh13 (23), Maryland | | January 4, 2008 Go for the pizza, not for the beer. Their house brand of beers are watered down. Two for $4 sounds good until you try them. The aggressively hopped IPA is very medicinal and lightly hopped at best. However, the food is good. The Thai Chicken Pizza is good, along with the Mr Greengenes and Buffalo Chicken Pizzas. This was the Columbia one, have not been to the Bmore one yet. | | jehoey (21), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania | | July 21, 2007 This is a cool little place. Really dig the atmosphere with moderately loud music and lots of talking, and many many glasses around because ordering anything to drink lands you two glasses. So its not really classy, but is definitely cool. service was very good. selection was only what they had which was quite nice though about 10 beers to chose from and gag me, miller lite. pizza here is awesome really well done. Would definitely go here again. | | treadyroc (14), St. Leonard, Maryland | | March 6, 2006 Very cool place. Bring your dog; I know I will next time I’m there. I saw a couple of pups in there, but it was a Saturday nite, & they were brave ;P
The pizza’s are fantastic. They’ve got, I dunno, twenty different kinds of personal pizza’s to choose from. The kicker is that there’s a menu selection where you can smash two pizza’s one on top of the other. I got the Atomic Dog (spicy) & the Buffalo Dog (buffalo chicken) pizza’s together... damn good.
The beers are pretty darn good for a small place like this. Nothing fantastic, but really good quality beers. They serve you a pair of what look to be 12oz mugs at a time for $3.75 (March, 2006); which, no matter how you slice it, is a damn good deal. They must be all about the combos in this joint, because they list a selection of mixed beer combinations that you can get on the back of the menu. I drank Resevoir Dogs (basically black & tans) all nite.
Great place, very friendly, very casual, pretty small. It’s tough to get a table, & you "Seat yourself, always," so you’ll want to plan on having a few beers before you eat ;) | vanillachase (1), does not count - explanation | | July 20, 2005 I love this place for the high quality and cheapness of the beers, and for the atmosphere. The pizzas are fabulous. My one real complaint would be that the place is too small, so it can be damned difficult to get a table. | | CharmCityHops (32), Maryland | | July 18, 2005 Very comfortable place located along cross street across from the market. Loads of dark wood, with old school dog photos around. Only serve their beers 2 for $3. They are contracted out from Old Dominion and aren’t bad. Outstanding, quick, and large pub grub. Personal pizzas are delicious. |
