This place is a wine bar. Certainly not the kind of place I would normally chose to go, but I was in Ellicott City over Thanksgiving weekend & decieded to check it out having seen it listed on here. Place was quite nice, 1 long bar & some sitting areas, pretty casual, good looking food w/reasonable prices @ Lunchtime-I’m sure the Dinner menu shoots up, but I did not eat. Service was quite pleasent on a slow afternoon. They have a small rotating bottle stock & focus on the classics & seasonals. I had a Chimay Blue, they had some Smuttynose, Lefe, a few others. Were actually a little low when I was there admitted they were awaiting a delivery. As for wine, they had it by the bottle stacked around the place so you could pick on out & drink it there f/a corkage fee ( I want to say it was $8 but don’t quote me on that). While I would not seek this place out, I would not hesatate to go here if some friends or the gf was looking for a nice place to eat in Ellicott City. If you aren’t a wine drinker they will still be able to take care of you.
