| ben4321 (43), Rockville, Maryland | | September 7, 2009 My visit here was on a Saturday afternoon, and I just made a quick stop at the bar, no food. Place was pretty darn empty, but I won’t hold that against them. Typical mall style brew pub. Decent beers, really enjoyed the DIPA they were serving, didn’t stay too long, but this place was decent. Sampler was a great deal money-wise, so they had that going for them.
| | Nejhleader (64), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania | | April 6, 2009 A neat little place to check out the bar is nice, didn’t have a chance to try the food, but it looked good. Beer was a little lack luster, but a sampler was only $2.50, so can’t beat that. | | Nate (197), Indiana, Pennsylvania | | August 22, 2008 Stopped here for dinner on a Friday at 6pm got right in. Had a sampler before choosing the stout to go with my steak salad. Salad was OK but uninspired - and what’s with the cheap-ass silverware. I bent my fork trying to eat a salad! Service was nice and the beers were not much to scream about - though the stout was their best offering by far. | Frauditor (6), Hagerstown, Maryland does not count - explanation | | December 7, 2007 Ok food, great service on Thursday nights. The draft board doesn’t change too often except for the occasional seasonal brew. nothing really exciting here. | | ¾ (599), Colorado | | June 2, 2007 Standard family brewpub making standard brewkit beers, it seems. That’s really all that needs to be said. Located around a mall and a ton of theme chain restaurants. You get the picture. They have happy hour specials 3-7pm, 1/2 priced appetizers. | | Derek881 (25), Frederick, Maryland | | February 5, 2007 A good neighborhood brewpub, with a decent selection of beers and food. The setting is modern, and it can be hard to hear around dinner time, but it is generally a nice, clean environment. The service is fairly good, but not great. Their beer selection is solid, but I by now I have gone through the usuals several times. They generally have a seasonal beer on tap too, which I usually choose to start. The food is very good, but there is not a great selection of it. Overall, it’s a friendly environment, I rarely have to wait long for a table, and they have good drink specials, including $2 drafts on Monday. | | Ungstrup (245), Frederiksberg, Denmark | | January 1, 2007 For a European I find the boulding that this brewpub is located in, very American - new, but made to look old style. To me the location in the mall doesn’t seem optimal. The interior decoration includes painted malt sacks hanging from the ceiling. The service was average. 6 beers on tap, ranging from boring to OK. The food was OK too, my fish and chips was fine. | | chriso (161), London, England | | November 5, 2006 Fairly standard, out of town, mall-style US brewpub. Only stayed long enough to do the sampler on the way into town as we didn’t fancy driving out again later. Monday, mid-aftrenoon, so pretty deserted and difficult to get a feel for the ambience. Didn’t eat. Solid, if unspectacular range of beers - six available, including a couple of seasonals. Worth a visit. | | hopscotch (152), Vero Beach, Florida | | May 7, 2006 [ Updated May 23, 2006 ] Friendly staff and good beer. Always a seasonal on tap and one beer on cask. Regular line-up is good, not great. Seasonals are usually very nice. Excellent, friendly service in bar area... the only place I sit. Food is solid; very good, but not exceptional. Smoking allowed only in the bar area. |
