New Jersey | | April 15, 2009 4-5 years ago on a trip with my friends. This was a pretty sweet place. There was 5 of us and we decided to drink the entire menu so we held a draft. I can’t remember what exactly everyone picked but there wasn’t a bad brew except for the blueberry one that had a ton of floating blueberries in it. Not a favorite. Solid prices though. | | ajm (161), Los Angeles, California | | March 16, 2009 Right off the Green Line, so easy to come by. Selection seems a little unambitious, but that also seems like it’s not permanently true. Dark, metallic, singles bar feel. | | Lubiere (177), Ottawa, Ontario | | March 11, 2009 Visted the Fenway brewpub, Oct. 12 2008. The place is large, with loads of TVs blaring out sports, and baseball memorabilia. Service was attentive (no game that day), and the food was excellent, large portions, with a very varied menu. Ordered 2 4 glass samples between me and the GF. Beers are all OK, nothing exceptional. A good place to go after the game! | | JeremyScott (11), Taunton, Massachusetts | | February 5, 2009 Alright, I know this score number may seem low, but it is for good reason. This is a total "IF" spot. If there is a game expect great ambiance and poor service, "IF" there is not a game expect poor ambiance and good service. It is hard to score such a difference (I Think). The beer is really good, but not great, and the food is mediocre at best. . I do recommend this place as must go spot before a Sox game. I don’t recommend it as a must go any other time of year. | texastornado (2), taunton, does not count - explanation | | February 1, 2009 went here after a red sox game and holly cow the service was so slow. they have alot of different beers but i was very disapponeted | | 6ROW (23), corpus christi, Texas | | January 27, 2009 as others have said it is a great place to get a beer before a ball game! but it will be packed and service will be slow! a little over priced! | | brewski519 (11), Morrisville, North Carolina | | January 2, 2009 Great place for a beer before or after a Red Sox game - gonna be packed though! I have only been here once when a game was not going on and the place was nearly empty. GREAT Blueberry beer - that is always my first choice when I make it to this Fenway staple. Go in with low expectations regarding the service etc due to the crowds and you will enjoy yourself a lot more. | | VTHopHead (36), Barre, Vermont | | October 5, 2008 How can it be better than drinking good beer right across the street from Fenway Park? Food was good, although way too crowded... they are well organized, however. Beer was good, but not outstanding (Victory White and Bluebeery Ale were the exception). I would go here every time I get to go to a game... once or twice a year. | darkstarjedi (1), , Connecticut does not count - explanation | | September 11, 2008 Love this place. All the food is amazing, and the blueberry ale with the floating blueberries is the best!
Can be a long wait to get a table before games. |
