Miniature store in the business Boston district, if you blink while walking pass it you’ll miss it. Forget about parking. As far as size in square feet this is probably on the smallest beer store listed on ratebeer. Not only is it very small but only 1/4th of the store is dedicated for beer. So obviously the selection is very small. But the limited selection is carefully selected. There’s obviously someone who knows beer behind the store selection. Only 1 or 2 beer from each brewery, mostly the good stuff. I bought some Jolly Pumpkin, Port Brewing 3rd Anniversary and more. Decent prices, cheaper than Charles Street Liquors. Somewhat knowledgeable service. Not worth a detour for the beer tourist but if you are in Boston for business this might be a convenient stress relief supplier.

Visited early July 2009. As mentionned by others, its smallish, huge wine selection, the beer selection is not huge but concentrates on fairly decent offering. Service was excellent. I was in transit in Boston for enough time to take the T for a quick roundtrip from BOS to State, and basically ordered over the phone the day before for a quick pick up (although it didnt happen quite like that, got delayed in Boston overnight, and managed to spend more time there). This is more of a wine store, with tastings, but the service is what makes this place excellent. Thanks to the owners!

This is a very small store in downtown Boston near the State T-Stop. Size affects selection, but what they lack in diversity they make up for in selection. There is always a hard-to-find beer in the cooler upstairs or aging down the steep stairs in the cellar. Service is very good - staff is always willing to assist and point out latest beers - and promote next in-house tasting. Price is actually quite reasonable considering the location. There also appears to be a good wine and whisk(e)y selection. I stop in at least once a week and never leave without a rarity.

Little store, right by the old meeting house. Guy I spoke to that day was friendly and told me what was new at the store, but then said the beer guy wasn’t around so he wasn’t sure about everything. Small beer area, but they packed a bunch of tasty things. Select items from brewers, never the whole line up. Remeber Great Divide, Harpoon, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, DFH, Few Euro’s too, I just don’t remember the names. Not a bad place, probably sell a bunch to the downtown business people. Nothing to go out of your way for, but if you were in a hotel in the area could be convenient.

Small place, but a big beer selection. They have a lot more stuff in the basement, so if you don’t see something, just ask.
