July 28, 2009 Nice space just down the road from Comerica Park. Great service and food. Sadly the beer takes a second seat, but they seem ambitious enough to make improvements in that department. |

February 8, 2009 Tucked in a small storefront on Broadway across from the Detroit Opera House. Lots of seating now that the upstairs bar area has been remodeled. Great food. The dinner portion of the shepherd’s pie is the size of a casserole dish! Had 5 or 6 regular beers on tap along with 2 seasonals. I think I’ve seen an occasional guest tap from time to time. Can’t go wrong with the Dwarf or Red. Gets packed before Tigers and Red Wings games. Short walk down to the people mover station to get to Joe Louis Arena. |

April 22, 2006 Love the food, beer and location. Unfortunately, we had a horrible waitress. But, that is the easiest thing to change. Great Dwarf Beer. |

December 22, 2005 Easy to find location near stadiums. Long bar with seating and tables for food and drink. Staff was very freindly and were well trained about their brews. The had ten taps, five of house brews and five mixed. Bottle beer in cooler behind bar. Brews were average to above and all drinkable. Good food menu of sandwichs and pizza. I had one of the pizzas and it was made well and tasty. I was in town for a football game and I will go back if cincy goes to the Super Bowl. |

November 7, 2005 [ Updated September 22, 2006 ] i like to drop by here every time i’m at a tigers game (i suppose lions games would work too). it’s only a short walk from the stadiums. pretty decent food and pretty decent beer, and pretty decent location and atmosphere. i figure a place is worth visiting if there’s anything decent about it, and the fact that everything is pretty decent makes DBC definitely worth a stop. |

September 14, 2005 I had a great visit to the Detroit Beer Co. Solid line up of beers and the Detroit Dwarf is fantastic. Food was great (especially the jambalaya). I will be going there everytime I am in downtown D-town. |

July 14, 2005 Great location across from Comerica Park, and nestled closely to Grand Circus Park. Very nice place with lots of seating at the bar, and lots of tables if you are with a bigger party. Decent selection of beer, they usually have 5 of thier own beers on tap, a few in bottles, and some other outside beers. Food is supposed to be good, though I have never eaten anything here. |
