Small little place just south of Wayne State campus. Funky, artsy kind of atmosphere. Not a huge selection of taps, but everything is pretty good and only $3 a glass. No food, and they close at 12am. If you’re out on a night on the town in Detroit, this is always a great place to start off. Almost the whole front of the place opens up in the summer and there is a nice little deck upstairs that makes it fun place in the summer.

interesting 2-level location, at a location that could be slightly intimidating to someone not familiar with the detroit environment (detroit’s historic cass corridor). nice horseshoe shaped bar that is the first thing to greet you, with a fun balcony that is absolutely great to be out drinking when it’s nice outside. the beer is decent to good, making motor city well worth a trip. while you’re at it, stop across the street at traffic jam & snug.
