Atmosphere is far better than the beer, and that is not saying much. Hip, trendy location. A few taps. Beer is drinkable at best. No reason for me to return. There’s nothing that sets this place apart. Did I mention the beer is nothing special.

I really like this place because you can sit outside. The food has a southwestern feel (lots of corn) and is pretty decent. The beer was alright...nothing special, but certainly drinkable. It’s pretty hip and gets a good weekend after dinner crowd.

Monday is HALF OFF FOOD NIGHT! I love Mondays. The food is pretty decent with an overall Southwestern feel to it. There is a nice atmosphere to this place, and the beers are acceptable. Not the place to go if you’re looking for some truly unique and tasty beers, but it’s a pretty good meal and decent drinks. Try the porter. It doesn’t work too well as a porter, but it’s certainly drinkable. The Emory (a new place across the street) is a little better restaurant with a better selection of wide distribution beers.

Right on historic Woodward Ave. in Downtown Ferndale. Fun place, great funky atmosphere with sort of an upscale warehouse style. There is a nice downstairs area with big garage doors that open up in the summer, which is really nice to relax on a warm summer day. The food is fantastic. It’s pretty much all gourmet takes on classic bar food. Gets real crowded on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays (half off of food day). Unfortunately thier beer is not real great. The Rasberry Blonde is nice on a summer day, but is way too sweet and hard to drink very much of. The rest of their beers are generally overcarbonated and poorly balanced. I’ve had friends complain that they may not clean out thier tap lines very well either.
