There is a place like this in Grand Rapids, it is called Logans Alley. Located on Michigan. Much cheaper than the Hop Cat downtown. Corner bar itself is fine, good selection of locals. Food is slightly better than average. Always had good service. It has been in the location for a long long time which is interesting. Look around at some of the old pictures hanging. It is in a kind of questionable part of town now and I seem to remember many underage local restaurant workers being here trying to drink.

its okay.... there are way better places to go if you’re in Kalamazoo.

A typical neighborhood bar with the exception of the taps of Bells and Arcadia brews. The selection isn’t anything you could not get in bottle, but still, better than many bars. The bottle selection was no where near 75 different bottles, maybe 20 or so. The food is standard tavern stuff. Service is good.
