Unfortunately this place closed on July 29, 2009. Real shame - they were the best brewpub in Metro Detroit (imho). This is the "back-story" to the tough economic times in Detroit - when their regular patrons lose their jobs, the brewers also suffer. If Scott King can find another place to brew beer and offer it for sale to the public, go get some!

Its all about thier beer here not much selection but their own here. Nice place though, very simpele with clean bathrooms......excellent menus with a alot of seafood dishes....the food presentation is absolutly off the charts. you wouldnt expect it here. They keep to their own brews which isnt a bad thing except for the guy who is looking for macros. the staff was pleasent enough and very knowlegeable. i aske for something different thaqn the standards. (like a cask aged or a sample of an up coming seasonal) but not happening. I will go back again at least for the food.

This is a Diamond in the ruff.was there in the afternoon so I do not know what kind of crowd hangs out there. Nice and bright inside, has maybe 15 to 20 tables that can seat 4 people and several high tables with bar stools for 2. Went there just to sample the beer, ended up having lunch. menu had a nice selection I decided on the pulled pork sandwich which came with home made french fries and a pickle for 6.95, other selections were a little more. the pulled pork was very good as were the french fries. had 2 down sides the the bartenter was smoking and they only have 5 taps. good place to go. will go back again
