arybicki (3), California does not count - explanation | | October 5, 2009 Excellent selection. Being in town from out-of-state, I needed some help and got solid recommendations. Sure, I could have picked beer I am familiar with, but I can do that back home. | | dmschefke (34), Eastpointe, Michigan | | May 7, 2009 A nice selection, staff is friendly and helpful, but not all that knowledgeable. Prices for the most part are on the higher end. Most in fridges, but some out. For the area, a pretty decent place. | demitriustown (3), Shelby Township, Michigan does not count - explanation | | April 10, 2009 Really nice selection. Service is great. Everytime I go in there I have at least one employee ask me if they can help me with something. Selection is excellent. They have a lot of singles and sixers so go wild. Foos is not applicable, because they don’t have any. Value is alright. Prices are a little higher than most just because they are located in Rochester. Overall, I like to go to this place every once in a while. Not my go to place but has a great selection, knowledgeable staff, and all round nice place. | | trayns (23), Beverly Hills, Michigan | | February 25, 2009 Newly remodeled. Nice clean, friendly store. . Pros - One of the top selections of belgians, micros, and rarities. Lots of brews in cold storage. Negatives - A little pricey and not a whole lot of singles to make a break-up 6er. Also, very limited selection of beers not refrigerated. | | walleye (28), Sterling Heights, Michigan | | January 25, 2009 this place has a good selections of beer. A lot of singles and the staff is knowledgeable. Prices a little on the high side | halidomide (1), , Michigan does not count - explanation | | January 22, 2009 Awesome store! Great selection of local and craft beers. There isn’t a store in Southeast Michigan with a better Belgian selection.
The staff are very friendly and VERY knowledgeable. | | jujubeast6000 (15), Houston, Texas | | October 30, 2007 [ Updated November 10, 2007 ] Awesome Selection of beers. Lots of Belgians. Lots of locals. Be wary of the beers marked down or on sale: I bought what turned out to be several bad beers that were on sale. | BallyLoser (2), Redmond, Washington does not count - explanation | | October 6, 2007 Awesome liquor selection. Good wine selection, but a great place for a beer selection. Lots available and quality beers avail cooled and ready to drink. | Surly (3), Michigan does not count - explanation | | August 15, 2007 The best place in the area for beer and top shelf liquor selections. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very large selection, lots of single beers. One note that not many people probably care about, they do cash back on debit purchases (another area store stopped offering that and now makes you pay the ATM fee). | | punkrkr27 (22), Berkley, Michigan | | April 10, 2007 Looks like a typical specialty wine and beer shop. Great selection of local beers. Lots of other good stuff from all over. They had some of the limited Dogfish Head stuff that I haven’t found anywhere else in the Detroit area. Also had a nice little selection of glassware. |
