November 13, 2009 Large place that sort of reminded me of a generic Rock Bottom. Had the sampler and a pint of Ginger Kids which was by far their best brew. Had the Cajon Burger which was pretty good. Overall this was a decent place to watch the football game I went to see. The one thing the sort of disturbed me was that they allow smoking at the bar. I often smoke when I drink but I don’t see how any brewery that is serious about their beer can allow smoking. just a personal thing I guess. Decent place overall but their are far better options in the Detroit area. |

July 9, 2009 I was very happy to find this place as there are so few high quality beer places around detroit. CC is nicely decorated with the prominent feature(s) being the copper brew kettles and fermenters. Very Nice. Nice custom wooden bar with maybe 14 taps(?) and three firkens which is impressive since most places only have 1, if any. I had both their Devil’s Peak IPA on firken and Scotch ale which were both very good. Staff was freindly. Burger was good. Nice daily special of burger and 25 ounce beer for $12. Highly recommended. |

April 10, 2009 Nicely decorated establishment. You can clearly see where the beer is brewed/stored. Staff were friendly and attentive. An average amount of beer on tap, I believe there were about seven. (two hand pulled) Went for lunch, and had a good burger, great fries!, and a 25oz. beer for $12. A good deal, will go back for lunch, and try a growler some day as well. |

December 15, 2008 The IPA was a little too fruity but the Imperial IPA was excellent. Good burger and fries. Outstanding service. |

July 29, 2008 Pleasant looking decor, somewhat of a cross between stylish and sporty. Staff were friendly and attentive. It had that hoppy smell typical of brewpubs but it was a little on the funky side, similar to a barn or stable. Weird. Was disappointed with the selection as they advertised hand pulled ales but none were on tap. The stout wasn’t available either - limiting the selection to about four different kinds. Sampled the porter and it was average. Didn’t try any of the food but for an average-fare menu the prices seemed on the steep side. Expect to pay between $15-18 for a meal at minimum. I liked the logo so I picked up a pint glass to add to my collection. |

November 23, 2007 Has a very corporate feeling, tons of televisions, smoky and sports oriented. Beers seemed average. Burger was solid. An average brewpud catering to an afer work type crowd. |

August 31, 2007 This place is average at best. I was not impressed with the Amber and the IPA in 2 separate trips there. The burger I had each time was actually pretty good.
The wait staff seemed bored and disinterested in one trip and neight server was very knowledgable about the beer.
Try it if you want, but there’s nothing special about this place. |

September 3, 2005 Nice, well lit place. Very airy. Good food to go with a nice selection of beers. I usually serve growlers from here at my parties. When you call ahead for them, they are very accomodating and appreciative of the advance notice and show it in their service. Great place for lunch on a Saturday, a relaxing place in the middle of a hectic day. |

October 25, 2004 Visited here over a year ago. Eerily similar to Bonfire Bistro in both food and beers, though Bonfire has the edge in both. Food is overcheesed and highly americanized. Beers are generally bland and watery with the servers not educated about beer, let alone what beers they have on tap currently. Friendly service though. |
