LawStudent09 | They have the standard German selection here on tap (10 or so beers). Nothing special though. The atmosphere was great. They have boots for you to drink out of as well which is always fun. Fun place to go and have a drink but if you’re looking for rare beers you will have to try somewhere else.

GaltScat | German food, German beer, German atmosphere well, very German. Authentic and fun.

badgerben | Well, they certainly will not have anything hard to find, but for a Germany drinking hall, this place is hard to beat. 10 or so German beers on tap, very tasty food, excellent atmosphere on the weekends.

BDR | I seem to only make it out here for Oktoberfest during which they offer a selection of standard German brews for a decent price. Food is good, but the service kind of slow.

JK | This is one of my favorite bars. I was never sure it should be listed here, but now that it is is, why not review it. This bar doesn’t have anything hard to find, but it does have about a dozen German and maybe one or two Austrian beers on tap. Most beers are $5 for 1/2 liter, or $10 for 1L (so why not buy by 1/2 liter). At one time they had Weihenstephaner and Franzinkaner but have cut down their selection. I have never eaten here. In the basement bar, its polka and a crowd that includes seniors until the club music starts at 11 PM. I have had some very bad service experiences here, including a bouncer touching my girlfriend, but service is usually friendly even if busy. Friday and Saturday evening is like a dance club. It is quieter the rest of the week.
