| chris_o (109), London, England | | July 17, 2007 Dropped in for a sampler after a Summit beer tour, more because of its proximity than anything else. In a pleasant part of town. Very quiet when we visited but it was midweek, mid-afternoon. Six beers on tap, all pretty bland but not horrible. They could probably be described as transitional beers. Not much evidence of ambition or invention in the brewing. Which is reflected in the fact that the website doesn’t even mention that its a brewpub. Essentially a neighbourhood pizza restaurant (actually part of a chain, but none of the others brew) with the brewing as an afterthought. One for completists. But, as badgerben says, its not the worst beer in town, nor even the worst brewpub. | | badgerben (77), Blaine, Minnesota | | June 26, 2007 Yikes... Well, the beer is not the worst in the city, but it comes close. Service is usually good, though I have only been at the bar recently. The only times I’ve had a table, it’s been pretty slow. Wings and appetizers are all I’ve eaten and they were good. Easily skipable. | | JK (96), Twin Cities, Minnesota | | December 8, 2006 The beer is pretty bad, and the service is terrible. They don’t value your business and I strongly recommend going somewhere else. But I will admit they make a solid pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mozzerella, mushrooms, and blue cheese. |
