This place is a beer lovers heaven! If you live in or plan to visit the Twin Cities, this place has to be on your agenda. They have the best beer selection around. Hands down. You can find everything from a Bourbon Barrel aged Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Porter on tap to the very beat in local fare pulled right from a firkin. The beer board is always changing, so visit often. And the staff is always pleasant plus very knowledgeable! They know their stuff. I also love the beer dinners. They are a steal @ $65 a plate, even if that seems a little spendy...well worth it! Two thumbs up!

Draught selection was incredible, and I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had there!

Heh, can’t believe I haven’t rated this place yet. Been here about a half dozen times. Nice looking place. Service is hit or miss, the bartenders don’t seem overly attentive. Great tap selection, but they seem to have probs with dirty tap lines. Might want to ask for a sample first before you order. Food is decent, but rather expensive, not worth the money. Trendy place, but there are better options in the Cities.

Went here for a friends birthday party with the full intention of drinking some great beer. The menu however was one of, if not the, most overpriced beer menus I have ever seen. Even local beer was over priced. There were beers on the menu that I could have gone down the street to a liquor store and gotten it for $4.00 less (charged $5 for Viking)! The food was also very pricey and the portions you get are not worth the price you pay. $11.00 for a plain cheese burger! Maybe I’m cheap but that is a little ridiculous. The beer selection however is very nice and the atmosphere appeared to be laid back. The service was average. Again good selection of beer but very pricey. If you’re in the area go down the street to the Muddy Pig where they have more beer at better prices.

Went here on a Thursday afternoon, so my friend and I had the patio pretty much to ourselves... but what a patio! Excellent ambiance. I imagine that this place gets packed on summer evenings, but very a nice place to spend a chill (and chilly) afternoon. Probably one of the best tap and bottle selections in a bar in the Twin Cities. Didn’t have any food, but the service was above average. Definitely recommended.

RBSG pub crawl. This is what a beer bar is all about! Quite crowded (nice eye candy) and for good reason - amazing tap selection, two Surly beers on cask and fair prices. Didn’t try the food. Another must-see in Minny-St. Paul!

The best beer bar in the metro. The bar will get crowded as the place is not exactly a secret. Nice patio for the summertime. Very extensive tap and bottle lists that change often. They open a cask ale on Thursdays and tend to be hosts to local brewers that are releasing a new beer. I’ve only eaten here once and, while expensive, it was delicious.

RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl. Fairly sizeable bar which was drawing a fairly large crowd, but we managed to find a spot at the bar. A very nice tap selection including several Surly brews on cask. Bottle selection seemed excellent as well.

I’ll second 1FastSTi on the...err, scenery. Great tap list there, didn’t get a chance to look at the bottle list however, though the vintage beers in the parking lot were far superior.

The eyecandy was nice here. Lots of taps and bottles. There’s a bar and patio out back. Very quaint and hopping at the same time. I would go there often if the place existed in Milwaukee. The crowd is young! Yay! Barkeeps were a little slow at times.
