a new brewery that has been opened from the brewmaster formerly from Spanish Peaks in Montana. This is just a hobby for him now. The atmosphere is very trendy with multi-leveled open areas. Its actually pretty cool. It was formerly the playboy club. The beer is split down the middle-half are good, half suck! A decent place to check out if your in town and want some ratings i guess.

Visited 18 Feb 2006. On the site of the former Playboy Club in St Louis in the Central West End, this is a groovy retro-70s environment. There’s a bar downstairs with a couple TVs. Upstairs is a dining room and a sunken sofa pit overlooking the bar area. The owners are entrepeneurs only ... but they hired a brewer. The beers were average for the most part, but the seasonal pumpkin ale held out hope for good things. I’d like to revisit to see how this place develops ... could be a good thing, or could be a flash in the pan.
