May 2007 - Well, no little smelly kids on our visit. This cozy taproom was pretty crowded on Saturday evening, but the service was efficient. The $2.50 pints were yummy, at least if you like the German styles ... of which they had about 6 or 7 to choose from. You can choose between the 12-seat bar, a nice seating area with solid wood tables overlooking the brewhouse, or an outdoor patio (which was occupied by a private party this day). Bring a designated driver, this is out of the way, but worth a visit.

Cool little place in some neighborhood in Missoula, I really don’t know what else was in the area. Outside a nice fenced in patio to keep out the stares of passer-byers. Inside has a nice bar area with beers and shirts. Very nice upscale sitting area inside that isn’t as thrown together as most brewpubs. Decent chairs, tables, lighting and decor. This is another one of those "tap rooms" so it closes at 8 and can’t serve you more than 48oz. The girl working their was smart and quick, pretty too. The main downer about this place was that they had a sign encouraging people to bring their kids. And people did. 4-5 little shit storms were running around, one of which smelled like it was used as an ass swab for a bum. Vocally yelling about this accomplishment, it would run around our table, fouling up any smells we could get from our subtle german style lagers with baby shit. Lovely. I’d give a higher score for ambiance and overall if it wasn’t for this visit-crushing experience, of which it was the owners to blame.
