May 2007 - Only after we got stranded overnight in Missoula and returned to the Doubletree Hotel (this time on Northwest Airlines) did we venture into the "hotel restaurant" ... and were pleasantly surprised. The circular bar featured at least 10 great Montana craft brews, plus a handful of other decent regionals. The dinner menu is slightly upscale steakhouse, so we stuck to the pizza while dining in our day-old-stuck-in-the-airport t-shirts. The lunch menu was a little more laid back. The view of the river is awesome. The young bartenders were almost as beer knurdy as me ... it was all good. |
