cadyv (1), Bastogne, Belgium does not count - explanation | | May 25, 2006 Very pleasant place where you can taste your beer. | | jbrus (84), Delft, Netherlands | | June 6, 2005 [ Updated December 23, 2006 ] Very good pub for serious beerdrinkers. Normally without annoying young and loud pilsener drinking crouds. The staff has a lot of knowedge about beer.
The last two visits to the pub where a bit disappointing. Very crowded, once I even had to stand in line to get in because some kind of soccer match. So the pub isn’t that good anymore. They have a restaurant now (since some time). They serve nice meal but not exceptional. Friendly staff though. | | bierkoning (138), La Tropica, Netherlands | | March 16, 2005 I’ve visited this pub quit often in my first beer life in the 80’s and early 90’s. Hasn’t changed a bit since, except that a brewery is active since 2004. Good beers (ask for the geuze card!), good staff, good atmosphere. |
