Loved the place. Staff really compensates for the aforementioned lack of "innercityness". You’re close to the water and the museum gave us a good impression how the Dutch keep their feet dry. I especially liked the new Russian Stout, but the others were fine as well. You really taste the ingredients and I like the overall lack of sweetness you’ll find in too many Belgium-style brews. Nice placemats by the way, told the story about prehistoric people that once settled nearby. They were supposedly the most ancient beerbrewers in the Lowlands. Their pottery inspired the founder of the brewery to design the very special klokbier-glass that stands without pedestal in a wooden base. Will most certainly return to find out and taste more.

Brand new brewpub, looks good, lovely patio and some beautiful copper kettles inside. Very friendly waitress. She allowed me to have half small glasses of all the beers because I had to drive and charged me only € 1,80 for it. Food looked good from the open kitchen, but I didn’t try. Will return, also because of the adjoining shopping mall.

Brand new place that looks cool but misses the cosy surroundings and feeling old buildings in old innercities have. Nice looking place to sit outside but it was raining when I was there. But I get a feeling it must be very nice and crowded if the sun is shining. Nice and friendly staff. Even had a nice chat with the (German) brewer. The beers are all technically ok but you’ve got to like the styles (all German). The food was excellent by the way. And if you visit, don’t forget to visit the outlet center just across the street. You might find something interesting for good money.

Brand new brewpub near Batavia outlet shoppingcentre and a VOC-ship. If like new architecture you at the right place in Flevoland
