| hellbilly (64), scottsdale über alles, Arizona | | July 5, 2009 same old place i used to frequent years past... good food, mediocre service in the dining room (though it is always good at the bar), cheap happy hour and crappy beer. nine of their own on tap with a few bottles. it can get a little annoying with families at times in the DR... | | Cletus (175), Connecticut | | April 17, 2009 Much bigger than the 4 Queens location and more of a brewpub. Features an interesting selection of beers that are enjoyable, Worth a stop. | | handsomejn (19), Arkansas | | December 1, 2008 very much enjoyed our visit, Nicole was the waitress and she was helpful, friendly and knew the beers and the food. The beer was tasty, good variety and creativity. GABF medal winners all around. Don’t get the pot roast unless you’re hungry. | | Dogbrick (218), Columbus, Ohio | | October 10, 2008 (Visited 04/2008): CBC is located on Fort Apache Rd not too far off 215. They have a decent sized private lot and there are other lots in the strip mall nearby if necessary.
The interior is large and is two floors, with the bar and restaurant separated (probably for the smokers). There is a second level for cocktails and cigars that I did not check out. The brewing eqipment is viewable behind large windows behind the bar, and there is a nice panorama of Chicago around the ceiling area. The only negatives to the atmosphere (which seem to be at every Las Vegas brewpub) are smoking, bartop electronic gambling and being overly dark.
CBC has 9 beers on draught and a sampler of their beers is $8.99. A couple of them are seasonals. The beers range from Witbier to Stout with a couple interesting options like a Strong Ale made with honey. Overall the beers are average to above average.
Service was pretty good on a weekday afternoon. The bartender was fairly attentive despite me not pouring cash into video poker.
I did not try any food on the visit.
Overall this is a pretty nice brewpub a few miles away from the Strip. It is definitely better than the typical brewpub/casinos that are common in the area. | | kp (11), Woodstock, Georgia | | May 13, 2008 This place could almost be like any brewpub in any town in the USA, rather than being a Vegas brewpub. It is located in a standalone building at the corner of a strip shopping center.

They do have machines built into the bar, but otherwise this is a typical modern brewpub. Bar on the left and restaurant on the right.
*
They have a good range of beers including a standard double IPA and seasonals like a Belgian tripple. Great happy hour prices including on the seasonals and high gravs. Free beer while playing the games.

If you have a car, this is a good stop, especially coming back from Red Rock Canyon. But if you don’t have a car, just visit the downtown location where they have most of the beers available. | | kmeves (97), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin | | May 6, 2008 [ Updated May 11, 2008 ] Really a pretty neat family friendly brewpub. Beers are above average and the food is downright tasty. | | eaglefan538 (90), Wilmington, Delaware | | January 20, 2008 A second stop for me before heading to the airport, way west side of the city, quite a hike from the main attractions. Besides the location not being optimal, the beers weren’t all that either. Highly crowded and even noisy. No need to head out here when you have Triple 7 nearby the action. | | lb4lb (25), Austin, Texas | | December 8, 2007 The girlfriend and I were in Vegas for a wedding and I made sure we got to sneak in a few brewpub stops along the way. This was the first of 3. Ambiance was pleasant overall, and a pretty open space. Our server was exceptionally nice and very friendly. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and some Filet Mignon Sliders both which I thought were quite good. The Beers were overall on the average to slightly below average side. We tried everything they had available and the Vanilla Blueberry Wheat was the favorite of both of ours. Prices were good overall, but the beers were all fairly thin and bland, with the exception of perhaps the aforementioned and another one or two. Overall, if its not out of the way, a nice place to try a few new beers and get some good food, but not beer that will blow you away or have you clammoring to go back for. | | DuffMan (98), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta | | October 6, 2007 Best of the Vegas brewpubs in my opinion. It’s pretty small an nothing too special on the inside, but the beers were all great and the food was terrific (4 of us shared a bunch of appeys). The 9 beer sampler tray is a bargain! There was a single bartender/waitress running the whole show and she was awesome! | | presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | August 9, 2007 Ate in the restaurant. Had the 9 beer sampler in cool mini beer bugs. Thought that the stout smelled weird, tasted it and they had substituted root beer since they were out of stout!! Pizza was good. Staff and manager were friendly. |
