| marcus (60), Sacramento, California | | October 10, 2008 This is easily the best retail beer store in the Las Vegas area. Beer distribution in Nevada leaves a lot to be desired, yet this store carries a lot of good Belgian and German beers, and many U.S. microbrewery beers including some hard-to-find bottles. | | ajm (68), California | | September 20, 2008 A clutch stop when in Vegas. Walls of liquid regional quirks like Squatters and Wasatch semi-rares like Black Butte XX a fine international selection discounts on spending sprees. A shining example of what a liquor store ought to be. | | kmeves (89), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin | | May 4, 2008 [ Updated September 3, 2008 ] Very nice selection of beers but really nothing rare. Any place that carries the complete line of Stone beers is ok in my book. Neighborhood is somewhat seedy as a lady of the evening walked in as I was checking out (good entertainment for a simple midwesterner). | | douglas88 (33), Salt Lake City, Utah | | March 19, 2008 [ Updated August 6, 2008 ] Flamingo Rd. location. Easy to find and a huge warehouse. A really nice beer selection, perhaps 500 plus beers. A ton of German, U.K., and Belgians, plus a bunch of U.S. Not amazing, but not bad at all. They didn’t have anything rare, but had a bunch of Stone, New Belgium and others. Went to the Lake Mead location July 2008. Similar to the Flamingo Rd, some Black Butte XX, a bunch of Belgians, and a 3 Fonteinen. | toddkrem (4), Las Vegas , Nevada does not count | | December 31, 2007 [ Updated October 1, 2008 ] South Eastern location. Probably the best beer selection in Vegas. Great selection of Vodka’s. Good prices and selection of wines. Sometimes has samples of wines and liquors especially on the weekends. Sells 22 oz singles and has lots of beer specials. I can get a six pack of Full sail IPA for 5 dollars. | | Poperinge (98), Cowtown, Alberta | | October 31, 2007 Can’t believe I haven’t rated this place. Although not Bottleworks this place is great. Bought my first Rochefort 10 here about 8 years ago, fuck it cost allot then much cheaper now. Ton’s of cool imports, lots of American mircos and a good selection with some serious deals. A must if shopping for hotel and driving beers while in Vegas. | | BelgianBeerGal (14), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada | | October 17, 2007 Understand I just moved to Las Vegas for business after living on the German/Belgian border, but I don’t compare this to my favourite Belgian haunts. Nice selection of US west coast brewers but no chance to split 6 packs. Bearable since they have nice 22oz selections available. I’ve now been to both the Lake Mead and Rancho locations: same selection and same great staff. The staff has been really nice (even more so at the Rancho location). Also a nice selection of wine and liquor (Glenmarangie 18 you can’t find just anywhere). Nice break from the beer hell-hole that is the Strip. | | DuffMan (52), Calgary , Alberta | | October 6, 2007 East Flamingo location. For a visiting Canadian, the selection was AWESOME! A terrific array of American micros (can’t break 6-packs, but good selection of bomber singles), British, German, and Belgian imports. Our checkout girl was great, but when she called her boss over to figure out some scanning problems I though he was going to hit her! Total A-hole! | | Beerlando (25), Orlando, Florida | | July 25, 2007 Rated 7/25/07. East Flamingo location. Medium sized warehouse style liquor store. Has a slightly better than average beer selection. There was a small refrigerated micro section, which was mostly made up of common six packs. I live in Florida, so I sought this place out for West coast beers that I can’t get back home. The only brands I found that I can’t get in Florida were Stone, Alaskan (6-packs only, no Smoked Porter) and the better New Belgium stuff. I did see a few Rogue’s that I haven’t seen before, but I’d bet those are available somewhere in Florida. I picked up bombers of various Stone beers (Arrogant Bastard, Pale, IPA, Ruination, and 07.07.07 Vertical Epic), as well as Rogue Uberfest and New Belgium Fat Tire. Bottom line: visit for the Stone and Alaskan if you are from the East Coast (like me), but I can’t imagine a West Coaster finding anything they can’t get at home. | jayfredweb (1), Blue Diamond, Nevada does not count | | December 15, 2006 West Flamingo location. Because of their size they have space to offer probably every beer in the market. If you want to find a particular beer go here first (any location). However their customer service is terrible! Especially when it comes to ordering kegs. I picked up a new keg 2 days ago from them. When I got it home I found that the neck was damaged. I called the store and spoke with Hong, the manager, about trading in the faulty keg. He told me that he would not do anything to help me! In fact, I had to contact the brewery and then the local distributor to get a new keg. It was worth the hassle, but I will never buy kegs from Lee’s Liquor again!!! | View Page : 1 2 3
