Wow. This is in Reno. Never would have stopped by here had it not been for Joe at Morandi’s Record Street Brewing. This place is, simply, the best destination for non-local beers in the Reno / Sparks area. Great vibe, friendly bartenders, cool people that simply are cool without trying, and the best beer selection for perhaps a hundred miles easily. Tap highlights include: La Chouffe, 4 Unibroues, De Ranke XX, Rogue Glen Ale, Old Rasputin, and Tripel Karmeliet. And then, the bottle list... Some of this stuff no one gets around here, even Booze Bros.: The Bruery, Jolly Pumpkin, Mikkeller (Not Just Another Wit, BGB, Draft Bear, All Others Pale, Jackie Brown, etc.), full Dieu du Ciel imported line, Fantomes, Duvel, De Molen, DFH, Haandbryggeriet, Nogne, and so forth. Crazy good selection. Reasonable prices. Knowledgeable staff. Unexpected gem, less than a year old.
