| eaglefan538 (90), Wilmington, Delaware | | January 18, 2008 Stopped in here one afternoon on the way up to New England, and besides putting up with another customer filling his growler for a Yankee’s game, had a great time. The beer selection was limited to about 4 different taps, but each was fairly good quality, the helles hefeweizen their best, imo. Both the brewer and wife were incredibly friendly and helpful. Got a quick penny tour of the facility too. Definitely a great mom and pop place to stop by if you’re in the area (and industrial complex, a little tricky to find, so bring along their phone number). | | HoppityHop (28), | | January 30, 2007 One of the best tours I’ve been on. The staff is knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions and explain things. The pride that Greg and his crew have for Ramstein shows in everything they do here. They’ll make you like wheat beer, that’s for sure! The authentic German food that is often served on Saturday tours is always amazing, as well! | | hophead75 (78), Boonton, New Jersey | | September 21, 2006 stopped by on a weekday early evening. Brewery set in an old brick industrial park. Met Greg one of the owners/brewer. Offered samples and seemed like to talk beer. The blonde on tap was fantastic, very fresh and enjoyed it more than I did in the bottle. Picked up a growler of their Oktoberfest which was also very good. Will go back for more fresh beer. | | Lou18 (23), West Paterson, New Jersey | | July 16, 2005 Nice place. Asways want to talk brew. And geting fresh growlers is excellent. Greg is a top notch guy. | | Probiere (45), Iowa | | July 7, 2005 Nice place. Industrial style, always ready to stop and chat, give you a taste, or fill a growler. They have nice glassware, made by Rastal in Germany. | | MaiBockAddict (76), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey | | July 26, 2004 Its a a brewery for chrissake! Yes there is food at some of the open houses. And you can pick up proper glassware for the lagers and weissbeers. Growler fills for standard beers are cheap (5 bucks). You can also buy Growlers and T shirts. Tours available second Saturday of every month (open house, call first to be sure). |
