| Chalsk (10), North Caldwell, New Jersey | | December 11, 2009 This is my spot. Largest selection of Belgiums and Craft beers in NJ. Have not found a place that beats it. | | vtafro (18), , New Jersey | | September 29, 2009 Selection is fair, sometimes you find a gem prices are ok and service is good but workers aren’t extremely knowledgeable. | | njmoons (14), New Jersey | | September 4, 2009
I live nearby so I stopped in one day when I had some time to ’kill’. On the way in they have a sign in the window NJ’s Best Craft and Import Beer Store (or something like that), I was a bit skeptical.
However once inside I was pleasently surprised a nice selection of micros, imports, in 6/4 packs, 750’s, bombers, singles, etc. A very nice selection including locals (although they seemed to be missing area brewery Ramstein?), national micros, and european imports. They also had an extensive selection in the cooler which is always a bonus if stopping on the way home.
Overall among the best stops in Northern NJ, I will be by again. | | lowgun1212 (12), Montclair, New Jersey | | July 13, 2009 best selection around. krieks, biere du gardes, oak aged, gueze, etc... | mikalooch (1), , New Jersey does not count - explanation | | October 3, 2008 This is one of the best stores in all of North Jersey. Knowledgeable staff, great selection and recommedations at the front of the store for new brews in stock. I can spend an hour in this place just reading labels. | nuggetnectar (1), , New Jersey does not count - explanation | | September 24, 2008 This place is a life saver. A real beer drinkers liquor store (although they do have a large wine selection.)They always have a display in the store with all new products and seasonal brews which seems like they upgrade just about every two weeks. A more extensive selection of single 12 oz beers then anwhere else around, and an entire wall of 22oz. bottles and larger. There’s a few guys and a younger kid who all know a lot about beer and never seem to mind walking around the store and answering any questions. All around a great store with a huge selection, and they keep a really good atmosphere with pink floyd the doors and other good music to listen to while you shop. | Antsmarchn (2), does not count - explanation | | August 17, 2008 Good selection, always something new worth trying. Dont see the prices being higher than any other liquor stores in the area. Dogfish 120 is actually $2 cheaper than other local liquor stores. | pal123 (7), New Jersey does not count - explanation | | May 3, 2008 Good little shop. High prices but a good selection for the area. Small selection of singles. High priced and no quantity discount. | | HoppityHop (49), New Jersey | | January 30, 2007 [ Updated August 7, 2008 ] Good selection and a nice variety of styles. Recently remodeled from when it was the dump formerly known as Yoon’s. Unfortunately, high prices on everything keep me away from this place. | hiphops (4), caldwell, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | October 10, 2006 [ Updated October 16, 2006 ] you’ll always find something worth drinking here. if you don’t mind paying higher prices than anywhere else. panil bariquee was 16.99 i’ve paid 13.99 for it. that 3 dollars could buy me another beer. i been here about 6 times and only once was someone trying to help me and he was pretty cool. we actually tasted a beer. they have a good selection jolly pumpkin, allagash, stone, rogue, victory, weyerbacher, avery, ottercreek, sly fox, stoudts, lots of belgians including de dolle which makes me happy and foreigns. not many six packs really worth buying here cuz they are more money than anywhere else except the stoudts double ipa. thats usually ten bucks when ever i can find it. this place would be great if it werent so expensive. did i mention it was expensive?? |
