One of the best atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in a bar. Low-lit, wood paneled, bookshelves for old library feel in front, bocce courts in back part of the room. Crowded, but pleasant crowd of all types. Lots of $5 drafts, better than I expected for NYC. More well-known microbrews from around the country on tap- Goose Island, Lagunitas, Brooklyn (duh), Stone, and others. Live music sometimes, but I was there on a Friday and whoever had their iPod on shuffle has great taste. Excellent experience all around.

Extremely cool! Way cool. Bocce (2 courts). The beer list sucks ass, though: hoegaarden and about 30 other run-of-the-mill microbrews. Go here for the decor: couches by the doorway arranged near bookshelves to look like someone’s office. Big space nooks and crannies (plus booths). Came here with my good buddy LordErasmus, but got stuck drinking a Coney Island Lager for lack of a better option. Ugly waitstaff.

I was there for the first time tonight, I didn’t even know it was there. I walked in and this place is huge. I checked out the tap list and they have some nice beers on. They have Goose Island IPA, Blue Point Summer, Goose Island Honkers, Lagunitas and others. They also had the other regulars but no Budweiser, I didn’t see that. They had a nice bottle list too. They have games. They have Boccee Ball. They have an outdoor patio. I believe this place just opened. I really liked this place. It was clean and big. They also have a lot of different books inside. Nice place. Definitely worth a visit.
