| rudolf (68), Buffalo, New York | | July 28, 2009 Restaurant that has really improved it’s beer selection in recent years. Decent BBQ ut not my pick for the best in Buffalo (that goes to Kentucky Greg’s - but they have crappy beer). A cool enough place to hang out at in Allentown, but probably not good enough as a beer destination for those coming in from out of town. | | IPFreely (92), Lewiston, New York | | February 16, 2009 BBQ restaurant with kick ass food, and what is becoming a much better beer selection. The hours listed are for the restaurant portion; the bar itself is often open to last call, which is 4am in Buffalo. Fairly typical atmosphere for a BBQ restaurant with a pretty sizable bar area and a large patio for the summer months. Service is always good, of course it helps that my cousin is one of the owners, but they’re always good. The beer selection has gotten much better over the past year or so with seasonals rounding out most of the tap selection and pretty respectable selection of micros in bottles. The place itself is pretty hidden on a tiny street so keep that in mind, and parking can be a bit of a bitch at times. Solid food, with some solid beer to go along with it | | swoopjones (115), Buffalo, New York | | October 18, 2008 [ Updated October 21, 2008 ] Good BBQ. Pulled pork & mac & cheese are good. Selection is much better than previously. Decent taps. Southern Tier creme brulee, DFH 60, pumpking. Nice bottle selection (Racer 5, DFH 90, to name a few) |
