October 17, 2009 House beers are usually good. Have expanded number of beers recently and also offer a good selection from other brewers on tap and in bottles. It’s also a great place to have dinner with friends or the family. |

October 5, 2009 I’ve been here dozens of times but yet to rate it. The only true brewpub in the city of Buffalo and I think they understand and know that. They do it really well. Huge old building with like four levels of eating and drinking, including a banquet room. Lots of artifacts and nostalgia in here. Great in the summer time on the patio or during hockey season when it gets packed because of the close proximity to the HSBC arena. Food is always pretty decent with some pub grub but also nice entrees too. Service is hit or miss. Beers are pretty solid most of the time, with the occasional poor showing sometimes. Good brewpub!! |

March 23, 2009 Visited on a quiet Saturday afternoon in May, there were lots of wooden chairs and a huge system of belts and fans cooling all the rooms and tables and booths to some rockin’ music. Service was fast and friendly. Great pulled pork sandwich and deep fried chips. Beer selection was at least numerous if not too different from each other. Located in an interesting part of town -- 50 years ago it used to be the worst place in America for gangs and fights and such! (It’s cleaned up a lot since then.) |

February 27, 2009 had a nice sample of different styles. the HUGE standout was the dopplebock. Holy crap was it good!!! Regional far like a Beef on Weck sandwhich and true Buffalo Wings make it worth going as well. Service was not exceptional or poor. Good location downtown near the water and baseball stadium. |

February 9, 2009 Great looking place. Food is always decent to pretty good. Soups & chili are usually top notch. Beer was always pretty bad but supposedly a new brewer is there & things have improved |

January 16, 2009 Continental styled pub with Polish-German hints especially shown on food menu. Large selection of home brews. Service was good and quiet helpfull. |

June 9, 2008 Hands down the best brewpub in Buffalo. Very spacious with 3 floors that are usually open. Eight house beers and tap plus a few macros. Bubble hockey and pool upstairs. Food is pretty good too. Lots of parking available. |

October 16, 2007 very cool bar with multiple floor levels and patios. Decent beer selection along with their own brews. They have these beertubes that hold approx 6 pints in them and they look impressive sitting on your table. |
