Hands down the best brewpub in Buffalo. Very spacious with 3 floors that are usually open. Eight house beers and tap plus a few macros. Bubble hockey and pool upstairs. Food is pretty good too. Lots of parking available.

very cool bar with multiple floor levels and patios. Decent beer selection along with their own brews. They have these beertubes that hold approx 6 pints in them and they look impressive sitting on your table.

Best brewpub in Buffalo hands down. Their beer and food is excellent and you cannot beat the location.

Beautiful old building, former department store perhaps? with a huge brewpub now taking up pretty much the whole thing -- man this place is spacious, and I didn’t even explore outside of the main room on the first floor. Huge bar area and ample seating during the dead hour (3 pm a couple of days after Christmas) that I visited; parking was no problem within a block on the street. Food was pretty decent, excellent steak fries (too many) accompanying a nice piece of catfish (which could have been bigger); beer was a bit problematic. Stupid narrow "mug" samplers, get rid of that shit! But regardless of shape, the beers weren’t all that special: the three lighter samples were basically crap, the stout and doppelbock ok, the scotch ale fairly decent. I kind of dug the vibe of downtown Buffalo, and this place has promise, so I may be back; but as is, this is marginal.

An anomaly of market and offering. Downtown Buffalo is underutilized, its right behind a highway, yet its a safe part of town. This is a huge place, with three large floors and well maintained with good woodwork and iron patio. However beer selection is minimal. There were seven taps, including a guest tap, and a separate Molbat. And only two or three macros. And that repeats itself in three places. The sample deck is pretty and a good 3.5 ounce glass per, but I think it was the most expensive. Hey Buffalo guys, lots of friendly girls drinking hard in the middle of the day.

Absolutely fabulous! A true brewpub in the sense of the word. Great environment for almost any occasion - very versatile. The beer they offer is good in taste but I would like to see a more diverse variety. Too many light-coloured bevvies. A nice red, a nut brown or porter perhaps, would offer those of us on the "dark side" something to get a little more excited about. The service was good and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the burger! This is a place worth frequenting.

A classic stop for those Leaf fans traveling to Buffalo, as it is close by. Large area, decent selection (had a couple of other micro’s on tap when I was there). Beer is decent when fresh - I’ve had good and bad experiences in that department. Food is quite tasty and service was fine. We appreciated the Tragically Hip cover band for us token Canadians after the game. Good spot if you are down in this end of town.

Buffalo Proper’s only Brewpub. Beers are OK, food is good. Try the Pub Fries! Last time I was there they only had 4 of their beers on and the stout tasted rather funky. I’m hoping that the lack of selection was just me walking in at the wrong time and not a result of business loss due to the cancellation of the NHL season

Nice wood interior reminiscent of Flossmoor Station. Located on this charming downtown street with a cable car running down the center. I must be truthful and confess that I had FLOWN to Buffalo to see A Flock Of Seagulls play. There. I said it. It’s out there. No taking it back. Oh, the shame, but at least I feel better ’fessing up. Anyway, back to the pub. I remember enjoying the beers quite a bit and there was like an 8-9 beer sampler or something. Huge selection. Middle of the road, mild brews as I recall, and friendly staff. Decent food. All in all, given that it was November in Buffalo (and therefore arctic), a very good time.
