I originally put this up as only "the Lark" I figured I’d move my rating here. Stopped in here after work on the suggestion of a couple of beer guys. I was not disappointed! As a new place with plenty to learn, they still did a great job, and will become a regular stop when I am anywhere close by. Good pub menu, good tap list, and good bottle list. I think in due time this will become an awesome spot! I wish them well.

After I found my way to the "soft" opening of the bar, I brought 25 people from my beer group into the place for a social gig. The Lark is very much like TJ Finely’s of Bayshore, though it’s smaller and somewhat more updated. I found it to be comfortable with good offset lighting and a decent selection both on tap and in bottle forms. The food was served like tapas and comments from friends said the basic bar food was good. I had both the wings and the turnovers, which I liked and could polish off a few more plates. I noted the mention of a coming cask engine, but as the place was only a week old, one was not there. I particularly liked the Delirium on tap as well as the Weihenstephaner Hefe too. Standing back for moment for a clear view, the new place is likely to become one of the better beer bars on the north shore of LI. I look forward to seeing this place grow and evolve.
