scottw86 (3), New York does not count | | September 11, 2008 An interesting little brew shop. They sell all sorts of merchandise and you can get growlers of any of their beers. The tour is interesting but it is not much to see. | | Sammy (206), Toronto, Ontario | | October 15, 2006 A nice drive, though complicated, southeast of Rochester, worth stopping in. Generous sampling, a nice bar, lots of selection, time for touring, and vey good quality merchandise. Extra samples in the back because I was a beer geek. | imperialordie (1), Rochester, New York does not count | | March 27, 2006 Good Place to get beer and go. They are experienced crafters, and very friendly. Sell growlers and other merchandise. Family friendly, which is a plus if you have one. | | zach8270 (25), Henrietta, New York | | June 14, 2005 Very nice, small, tucked-away brewery that kicks out a lot of beers for the Rochester area. You can go in for a tour and a sampling of all the selections of their beers currently on tap. Nice little store for shopping. They sell growlers, and lots of pretty cool merchandise. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable and willing to answer your questions. They usually have their root beer on tap for the kids and the non-beer drinkers as well. A nice place and definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. | | shadey (31), Rochester, New York | | August 17, 2004 Showed up on a saturday for a tour. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgable. Nice selection of merchandise available for sale. Pretty decen beers available while I was there. I got a growler and I will be re-filling. | | BuckNaked (28), Tempe, Arizona | | June 29, 2004 Small-time brewery that brews house brews for many bars and restaurants in the western NY area. Enjoyable to take a tour on weekends, staff is very involved and knows a lot about the brewing. Bar is almost nonexistent - a simple counter, sink, register and 6-8 taps sticking out of the wall/fridge. They only sell growlers & kegs, not meant to be a working bar. Enjoyable for the surrounding countryside and small brewery experience, though nothing really special brewed here. |
