Great place to get a beer before a game. Nice atmosphere. Beer is always fresh. Love the Brooklyn Lager on tap. Excellent place to watch a game. If your searching for rare beers you won’t find them here. But what what you will get is a decent selection of mostly local crafts.

My favorite place to eat/drink before Rangers’ games. Right near MSG, Stout has solid hearty food and fresh tasty beer. The prices are fair and the service is very quick. They messed up my drink order and the drink ended up being on them. Nice gesture. Kinda touristy vibe, but a nice place to stop before MSG events.

Great place for beer lovers in NYC. Great atmosphere always showing sports (all of them- baseball, football, golf, soccer, rugby, and more). Selection of beer was decent, like 20 on tap and maybe 30 or so bottle choices. Menu was expansive, and the Stout Burger was pretty solid. Prices are a little high, but it is Midtown NYC. Very spacious place- you dont feel crammed in like so many other places in the city. Good place to go after work or to watch sports.

More of a macro-place, its huge, and central to the Broadway Street crowd. Sparse micro taps, and even at that, to supplement Irish dry stouts. They could take their craft beer more seriously, and then this place would rock. Warehouse effect, with wooden tables and chairs.

Stopped by on a Sunday night so it wasn’t too busy. There were two bartenders with strong Irish accents, which was a nice touch. Service was good for the most part. We didn’t order any food, so I can’t speak for that except to say it was reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar was setup in a pretty creative way with upstairs balcony and large main level. Selection was just OK. There were not a lot of beers I was dying to try. They did have one cask ale and two seasonals with a large number of widely available stouts. I liked the vibe at Stout more than the beer selection. Overall, it was a nice place and I would definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the neighborhood. If you’re looking for rare beer gems, you won’t find many here.

I like this place. It has plenty of New York feel to it (including the guidos from Jersey who scream at ARod on TV). But its the right kind of mix of trendy and true to its stout roots. Sycthian was coming soon, that impressed me for a bar not music venue. I wouldn’t say they had a a ton of taps, or bottle for that matter. But what they do have is above average and includes a fair amount ofdecent stuff, in particular, you guessed it, stouts.

This place is huge. They have a ton of taps and I can usually find something. The bottle list is also extensive and has a wide range. Not my favorite place to hang out but if you have a big group there is a lot of room here. Does get pretty packed especially when Scythian plays who I love. Greatest Irish rock band. The food is also good every time I eat there.

Big, loud and full of suits. Gets packed after work, before games, and every weekend when football is on. The selection is okay, but this isn’t my kind of place. I’ve never actually eaten here... too loud for my tastes.

Went down to the city for the day, wasn’t too bad, hit it up about lunch time. I am by no means am a master taster but most of the stuff on the liist I could find in Albany so that kinda threw me off but the staff was great, recommended other place we could go. We sliders, fries and a few pints. I thought it was pretty great!

Better service than I expected for such a busy place. Selection is decent, though as others have noted, the best choices are bottles. Has a basement party feel to it. I’d like to go back when it is less crowded.
