A solid little brewpub in idyllic Oswego, NY. Everything about my trip here was nice. I got a six-beer sampler for a very reasonable price. I enjoyed my burger very much. The beers were all pretty solid, some better than others, of course. And the bartender was unfailingly friendly and efficient. The vibe was leisurely and comfy. A really nice stop if you get a chance.

Terrific beers, brewed by a former brewer from the great Empire brewpub in Syracuse. The IPA, Double IPA, and Brown Ale are especially good. The food is adequate, and some items, like the Haddock Fingers and the fried potato chips, are addictive. The wait staff can be inept at times, but the main bartender (Ryan) is always on the ball. Occasionally there’s live music, such as the smokin’ Oswego Jazz Combo, who played there most Wednesday nights during the school year.

Well the ambience was pleasing, a well decorated dining area, and nice looking copper tanks on display. The arthurian theme was done tastefully, not cheesily. The menu was OK but not hugely varied - a few steaks, chicken pork and fish. We laughed at the 1 lb burger listed under "Light Fare"! My grilled tuna steak was OK but not the best I’d had, and was perhaps slightly overdone. Service was very friendly and prompt, although it was a very dead night so it was hard to be otherwise. Beers were not good, but I had 2 seasonals and none of the regular lineup. 7-8 different beers available was nice, but all were in the standard british line (given the arthurian theme, no surprise) although 2 fruited wheats was a bit overkill.

This is a swell place with a nice selection of very decent ales, many of them surprising in their expressions. The serviceiand food are very good and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly recommended.

Multi-faceted establishment in which the pub section is not the priority. Very clean. Gentle preoccupied owner has trouble finding a steady brewer. Inefficient weird paper sheet sample platter. Interesting inexpensive selection of 9 beers, mostly english styles, but they were all very light, some of them oldish and similar tasting. Good food. Not worth a huge detour, but the best place in the area.

Very small, 44 seat brewpub in an English-style. Four tall 3’ coaster tables, traditional english food with the common wrap selection. We were told that they host their part-time brewer to Sackets Harbor Brewpub - hopefully they can keep this afloat long enought for someone else to come in and turn the place around. I ate the Reuben Sandwich but was eyeing Rastacouere’s Philly Cheesesteak!

I went to this place during the weekday afternoon in the summer and it was rather dead. The building is really nice and appears to be more of an upscale restaurant. The brewery and bar is to the side. I had a sampler platter and sat out on the patio. The brewer came out and spoke with me when he saw me taking notes. The guy was really nice. Unfortunately, his beers were less than par. I hate it when theres a nice guy who brews subpar beers. Either way, this was a nice little place in a nice quaint town of Oswego.
