Nice laid back bar/brewery out on LI. Free tasting samples offered for most brews and pints are only 4-5 bucks. Growlers cost anywhere from $9-15 depending on how exclusive the beer is. Can get kind of crowded but theres a deck outside that has a really relaxed ambiance. Really enjoyed this one- beer is excellent and cheap and the location is very convenient.

I loved this place. They have 12 taps, and I loved their beer. They offer free samples for 6 of them, and a cheap price for the other higher quality samples. The place is small, but cozy, and it gets really crowded. This is a place that everyone would enjoy.

This is a great place to go for a good time trying all sorts of beer. Just recently I went and they had 6 free beers on tap and another 5 available in cheap pints. The bar tenders are generally pretty quick with everything and most the the beers are pretty good (especially since you can’t beat the price). If you are out on Long Island make this place a destination for one of their free taste times. The nearby Brick House Brewery isn’t bad either, they handle the brewing there (I wish they also had Brick House brews available there). Be warned, however, that the tasting room can get a bit crowded, but it is always a friendly crowd who is pretty well versed in beer. Re-rate: I have realized that the crowd is not as well versed in beer as I though, maybe it is just me being a beer nerd. Also, they no longer handle the brewing at Brickhouse.

Not a bad brewery. I found the staff somewhat attentive, but they tended to ignore us for long periods of time when it got a little busy. Most samples are free, as mentioned, with the so-called "premium" beers pay tastings. They have some good deals, like a $5 pint glass with or without a drink in it (almost like a free drink), and the atmosphere is very nice inside, with tables outside in the summer (though this is a fairly industrial area). One downside for me was the huge disparity in the price of growlers; it’s $9 for "regular" beers like Toasted Lager and Oatmeal Stout, but if you want something like the Cherry Imperial Stout of the No Apologies IIPA, the price rockets to $16. That’s a bit much. Also, it was a bit frustrating that, every time I’ve been there, a keg has been tapped. Overall, though, a good experience.

A fun place with a great atmosphere. They ahd some cool beers on the tap but for some reasons a number of taps were out (especially of the basics).

The service is here amazing. It was unbelievably busy, but the two female bartenders were able to keep up. They allow free sample of all the beers, except the Old Howling Bastard Barley Wine, the Hoptical Illusion, and the Cerry Imperial Stout, so, I rated everything they had available. Nice people, a bit tight and small, but still cozy. I spoke to the head brewer Alan and he was really cool. There aren’t any really impressive brews, but they’re all decent. Worth the trip for beer geeks.

This is definitly a cool place. Small tight bar with low ceilings but cool. But packed on a saturday afternoon, constant flow of people coming and going. Some to fill up some to taste. The room has cool art, old bottles, old furniture, and other nick nacks. Great design on the tables and the bar. Can drink at a picniic table in the back. Lots of taps including aged Howling Bastard and a cask. Definitly worth a stop and I will be back.

Yeah, this place is cool. Tucked away in an industrial park, you don’t realize you’re in the right place until you open a door and find a party going on. Packed and loud when I got there, two servers who never stop jumping the whole time. Mostly free drinking, except the barleywines and the cask ale. Their beer is quite good in general. Clientele are very friendly and upbeat. I spent my time chatting with brewwitch and her husband about US travel. No food, but for a good time, this place is tough to beat.

Beer is always fresh and there is something for everyone with 12 brews to sample (most are complimentary!) Always an interesting mix of people, plus great service from the bartenders, even when it’s VERY crowded.

My visit was pleasant except: tastes, @ $4.00 for small samples was a bit rich; service could have been a little better on a crowded Saturday; tour seemed too matter-of-fact. I had to ask and almost search to find out about the tour. On the other hand, the beers were great. They also had a blackboard showing the latest establishments to add their product(s) to their list of offerings. My suggestions to the owners is to offer the sampels for a little less to help develop demand for the product, as well as offer trinkets (shirts, frisbees, coasters, etc.) cheaply as additional advertising.
