October 17, 2009 While visiting my brother on 10-10-09 we visited the brew pub. Overall it was a good experience, and the food was great. Unfortunately I did not get to sample any of their beers. Some of the staff seemed overwhelmed, specifically my waitress and the bartender. This caused for an extremely long wait on our food. This did not seem to be our servers fault, she had more tables than the waiter who was working alongside of her. One of which was a party of eleven. We ordered 6 samples to try and we canceled them after finishing our meals, due to still not receiving them. Again the bar was packed so you can’t really blame the bartender. I didn’t see any one who seemed to be management to support the staff at such an obviously busy time of day. I will say our server even while she was running around was very pleasant. I emailed them about this the day after and still have not received a reply. |

July 26, 2008 Had lunch and some drinks here after a warm hike in the gorge at Watkins Glen. They only had three of the Roosterfish beers on tap, and they weren’t very good. Ended up with a couple of bottled selections. The food was nice, however, and the service was attentive - it was the post-lunch time, and the crowd was minimal. |

August 5, 2007 Very good burgers and food. Has a nice feel to the place. Only had 3 of their 6 beers on tap though. No IPA :( |

September 18, 2006 The helpful staff took time to explain their beers in detail. This didn’t take long as there were only three beers brewed on the premises. The remaining taps were a nice mix of the essential tourist beers (Big Three plus the ubiquitous Guinness tap) and local delights (Ithaca). The food was great, with a diverse and entertaining menu. |

September 5, 2006 We stopped in for lunch. The place has a very pleasant atmosphere. Service was excellent and very friendly. My son had one of their pizzas. I had a marinated chicken sandwich which was quite good. The beer selection I thought was a bit weak. They only had 3 of their own beers available on tap plus a couple of others. I thought their Hefe was the best of the three. Easy to find, just look for the UK-style phone booth out front. |

September 1, 2006 The bers aren’t bad but are easily drinkable. The decor is being re-worked and has an Irish-pub tupe feel. Service was great and I enjoyed my pizza. Although there are a few macros on tap, loom for a guest beer. I had Cascazilla on tap (Ithaca Brewing) and that was good. Why I didn’t see the nearby competitor (Wagner’s) on tap is a mystery. But I really dug the atmosphere of this bar with the classic rock and decor. If I decide to join my sister and move here, this will be a regular destination! But if Cascazilla disappears, hmmmm. |

August 6, 2006 Pleasant space houses this brewpub. They offer five of their own beers on tap, along with several others. Service was fine, and the food was good. We went on a Wednesday night, aka, 20-cent wing night, so dinner was quite inexpensive. The beers are nothing special, but by no means are they bad. A band started up around 6pm. |
