| dchmela (40), Orlando, Florida | | September 8, 2008 Not much for the beer person, but a decent selection if you can’t get up the road to Bruisin Ales. Good selection of wines, with tasting on weekends. I did find a Flying Dog Collaborator for a much better price than any where in town, too. | | emacgee (25), Chapel Hill, North Carolina | | May 18, 2008 Probably more of a wine shop, hence the name. Good selection of various bottles. One or two things you may not be able to find elsewhere. Never asked anyone for any kind of service and never had anyone offer it so I can’t say much in that area. Singles and six packs and a pretty big glass selection. Might as well stop by if you’re in the area. | | dolemite77 (10), Maryville, Tennessee | | February 4, 2008 I stopped in here to buy a couple of extra things when I was in Asheville... nothing that they don’t have a Bruisin’ Ales, and the staff seemed like they were ready for me to leave... but I think they were just opening up in the morning when I stopped in. | | Jmichael (33), Asheville, North Carolina | | August 13, 2007 pretty good selection of bottles amongst wine, I first noticed the trappist selection. friendly staff, some glasses too. | | EithCubes (61), Indiana | | July 8, 2007 Focus here is definitely on wine, but some really nice Belgians (Cantillon, De Dolle, Achel, Affligem, etc.) and others from all over (Mahr’s, Spezial, Schlenkerla, etc.). Too much Rogue, though. Definitely not the best in town, but worth a stop for the occasional rarity. Some pretty good Sake, too. | | NachlamSie (170), Tennessee | | February 2, 2006 This place has a small amount of hard to find stuff in the area, for that I check it out just to make sure I’m not missing anything else. Otherwise, I defintely go to Asheville Wine Market which is just a short walk away and is considerably cheaper and also has more singles available. | | Suttree (67), Knoxville, Tennessee | | April 28, 2004 Nice package store that is right downtown. Singles available, but they will not break up sixers. Case discount available. The staff is very friendly - they remember as &quo; That guy who drives here from Knoxville&quo;. even though I only get there 2-3 times a year. Selection is limited by NC’s 6% beer law. |
