| DocLock (99), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania | | August 28, 2007 I consistently found good stuff here while working in Cary. The selection of locals is great, they get fairly rare stuff once in awhile, and it was close to my hotel. The tfood is good, but I usually hit the Greek restaurant down the road. Service is very good. | | NachlamSie (170), Tennessee | | February 1, 2007 I thought this Whole Foods wasn’t as extensive as the location in Raleigh. Less NC beer is available here and I couldn’t find a 12 0z. single bottle shelf, though I didn’t look too hard. I couldn’t find the Whole Foods brand beer either, maybe it was hidden somewhere in the area that I didn’t skim over. Picked up a small amount of snack food though. Good stuff. | | OldGrowth (104), Cary, North Carolina | | November 14, 2006 Fairly new looking building, modern construction, it’s a grocery store so I’m not getting carried away here. I’ve never had a chance to talk to anyone here about beer (or anything else for that matter) and the staff seems to shy away from saying hi and asking if I need help with anything. They have been nice at the register and if they get in my way. Good selection it’s either 20 feet or 24 feet of shelf space being 5 shelves high, plus a small fridge with singles. A few stacks mixed in wine area of spotlighted brewers. Couple side stacks on various aisles. Kind of lacks for NC beers overall. Decent diversity of beer overall though. Do have the Whole Foods brews made by North Coast though. Scored food as it’s a grocery store, a better one
at than most in area. Just surprised at the lack of North Carolina micros overall. Not as good as the Raleigh location. |
