| emacgee (25), Chapel Hill, North Carolina | | May 1, 2008 They usually have a good selection of available micros and exports. They’ll occasionally have something that another store wont have. Its usually a good place to go and pick up a nice six pack. | wingman333 (5), Chapel Hill, North Carolina does not count | | February 2, 2008 The selection of beers have gotten really good here lately, and if you ask they will order special for you. The beer advisor there is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is also accurate in knowing what will be there and when. Plus most everything is COLD! Now if they will just move the stinky cheese counter somewhere else and tell those clueless old ladies to stop ramming me with their organic free range food-laden shopping carts! | | wilkie (36), Raleigh, North Carolina | | January 28, 2008 Good selection of beers, but you have to look through the entire store for it. Got Ommegeddon after looking for a while (I stupidly told argo0 that it was readily available in NC!). Found Hopslam there (last sixer), and there is some decent local selection too. Not quite as good as the one in Raleigh, but has some beers the one in Raleigh doesn’t. Also, I got good service there. | | TURDFERGUSON (37), Carrboro, North Carolina | | January 23, 2008 Just stopped in here today. As performula mentions, WF is keen to the emergence of the craft beer market in the USA. Wish we could get one of those cool growler station hookups like they have in some of the WF’s up north. A fine selection here, but they aren’t as privy to the new releases when they first come out. Service is usually poor. | | performula (27), Triangle Area, North Carolina | | October 10, 2007 [ Updated November 3, 2007 ] This shopping center stinks. Get ready to run someone over as they are oblivious to their surroundings. The food is good, service is good, a little sit down portion near the prepared food section. Not a bad beer selection. Bells, Dogfish, Duck Rabbit, Clipper City, Southampton (1 or 2), Weyerbacher (1 or 2), Victory (2 or 3), Rogue Imperials, and the typical other stuff of the area. Found an EEL River Organic Porter today. |
